You will be interviewed by a panel of people via Zoom. Each person will ask you questions about your interest in Laos and your plans for your time there. It is important to be able to articulate why you chose Laos specifically and what you hope to achieve during your time there. Be prepared to answer questions about your cultural sensitivity and your ability to deal with challenges in Laos. The interviewers will want to make sure that you are prepared to work through any challenges that may arise, especially health concerns, as Laos does not have the best healthcare system.

The interview process is a panel of the FSO's and coordinators from the country you are interviewing for. These are people you will likely report to at Post. They normally include a mix of American and local people.
