Applied online initially, then HR reached out a few days later to set up interview with manager. Had a seemingly pleasant conversation with manager, going over my background, and he spent the entire time fawning how my previous experience would be an amazing fit for the role. Even went as far as telling me what to expect in the next step process and to expect a call back from him within a few days. Waited two weeks, no response. I tried calling HR for days and kept getting ghosted, which is funny by the way, considering she picked up immediately when I called her back during the start of this process. Finally reached out to another member on the team that was CC'ed in the email only to get a generic, automated rejection letter moments later.
