I had been referred by a connection made in my previous role.
There was a quick preliminary phone interview of my previous experiences and qualifications. Since I am a consultant, there was a similar interview focused on my qualifications with the client. After that, there was an in-person interview with a panel that included general questions and a brief case study question.

They gave me a scenario in which I were to evaluate a program's impact among a state hospital system. It was something of an open-ended question that tested my knowledge of robust econometric methodologies.
