I suppose to make the process feel "personal" you get generic responses such as "Great to hear that" now tell me...Once you go through that, you'll wait for weeks, try to reach out, nothing, then you'll finally get a generic, automated rejection. If you have multiple years of experience in the field, owned numerous small businesses yourself, and made a proven impact in the franchsise world yourself, you will be considered "overqualified". Simply, save yourself the headache and continue on your search.
