The whole process was very efficient and professional. I was contacted within hours from sending my application and the interview was duly scheduled for next week. The company is based in a fantastic location in the City - great newly refurbished offices and very kind staff. I first saw the CEO himself who went through the usual questions regarding my CV and then proceeded to more strategic aspects of the role. The 2nd interview, less than two weeks later, was held with him and the two managing directors. Again, it followed the usual interviewing route and was definitely a very enjoyable experience. Both interviews took an hour each and I felt throughout that I was being interviewed by very pleasant, professional and well-meaning people, who had ambitious plans for the company and who are very keen to attract the best talent available in the legal research market. The final decision came two weeks later - I didn't get the job as they chose someone with more experience in this particular role/sector, but I have to say the whole experience was quite uplifting given what one can encounter during a recruitment process. What particularly impressed me was the professionalism and reliability of all the people I dealt with : they call/email you when they say they would (regardless of whether we are talking about the office staff or the CEO) and they are very transparent as to what they want/like/dislike/think. This was a breath of fresh air.
