Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Forterra (Clarksburg, MD) en sep 2025
Entrevista
Applied through a recruiter, after a phone screening with him. First interview was with a technical guy and project manager. Technical questions were too simple, not corresponding to the position, really it wasn't real technical interview - anyone with basic programming knowledge would pass it. Then common questions with the manager in very friendly manner. Three weeks later I was informed that they would like to proceed with an on-site interview at the Clarksburg facility. These were simply friendly conversations with various specialists from their project, some general questions, plus a tour of their production facilities (it was cool place). They said they would contact me. A month later, I received a letter of rejection. Overall, a good experience. I would like to say that it wasn't so much a technical interview, rather an attempt to understand how well the engineer would fit into their team.

Gave an interview of what they were doing and looking for. Wanted to know how well I knew C++. Mentioned that they were mainly academics in the unmanned vehicle group and they were looking for software engineers that knew C++.
