      Entrevista

      I had several pre-interviews with local hr specialists, very positive, always hurry up mood. One day I got an opportunity to get the tech interview with a person with pretty similar to me experience. It was nice conversation for 45 minutes with some none tech questions. After that nobody did not give me any feedback. Total silence.

      Entrevista

      Initially I had an interview with someone from recruiting, it was better than usual as the person doing the interview had some role related questions which were logical and to the point. On the 2nd interview, which was the tech interview, the guy was nice, but on one hand he constantly gave the impression, and even said so, that he was in a hurry, while on the other we were there for 2:15 hours. I didn’t really think it was done in the best format, that is, instead of a flowing back and forth conversation, it was more a very long and tedious interrogation. Sometimes when I was in the middle of a response, which were never very long, I got interrupted to “move on to the next one”. Other times I was asked “nothing else?” So it was difficult to assess the detail level expectation. There were a lot of questions, more than I would have expected, related to handling team extra hours, at least two related to how to handle such a request when at the same time not offering compensation for such hours. Not very reassuring. I replied with what I consider to be MY correct behavior in such scenarios, specifying that such requests should be very punctual and sporadic. In the end, the feedback, which I asked as I was given the chance to do a question, was that even though it was clear that I have a lot of real world experience, which I do, I wasn’t very detailed on my responses about how I would handle “difficult” clients. I did, but of course I didn’t focus on that aspect at all, that’s true.
