I recently interviewed for an Accounts role and came away genuinely impressed with the whole experience. The process was smooth, well organised, and refreshingly straightforward — no endless waiting around wondering if your CV had disappeared into a black hole.
A special shoutout to the Talent Acquisition rep who coordinated everything. She was a warm and charming woman and honestly one of the best parts of the process. Super organised, quick to respond, and just really easy to talk to. She kept everything moving while still making the experience feel human, which isn’t always a given in recruitment.
The interview was good and the conversations felt natural and gave a real sense of the team and how the role fits into the bigger picture.
All in all, a really positive experience. If the interview process is anything to go by, it feels like a place where people take both the work and the people seriously (but not themselves too seriously). Considering F1 is an old and iconic British company they are more forward thinking then I thought. A beautiful black women as the face of their recruitment made me feel proud to be British - bravo!
