The process was fairly simple, and was more so based on your sense of style and appearance rather than anything else. If you looked like someone meant for Forever 21, then you were pretty much hired. The process was educational, as in, they let you in on what to expect from customers, where the separate segments of the store were in regards to style. Once the tour was over, the final test was to find a set of clothing, top to bottom, and present it to the manager. The trick was finding something they would look good in, and why, regarding the season as well.

A customer is upset, and is throwing a near tantrum. How do you handle the situation?

It was very laid back, no pressure, very open and friendly. i went in and gave my resume. they called me back for an in person interview and then i went in and had to wait for the manager to be free. they came out and we found a place to sit and talked. for the interview near the store. they asked me about my soft skills and goals. then they sent me home and i got a call saying i got it.
p.s. i would not reccomend working here although im pretty sure it shut down. i wasn't trained properly (i was young and this was my first job) they did a group training where they told us to just pat stuff down and shift things. then i was given someone to shadow who i only saw in the beginning and then never again. i was frequently put in large extremely messy sections by myself.

Its was fine. Its a group interview, which is on par for retail. It was not hard. but there were a lot of other people interviewing. It gave the impression that that constant lose aa lot of staff.
Easy interview, hired on the spot. Questions were very basic, asked about what skills you have that would lead to your success in the position. Interview was very informal and laid back.
