After you fill out the application, you are required to go through a series of interviews to assess the relevant information on your resume to the specific job. They will also ask you take any skills tests related to the job requirements such as an excel test. Since the job is in the fashion industry, many people were wearing designer clothing or casual wear, including the interviewers. Therefore, the work culture at Forever 21 is less formal than companies in other industries.

Their HR Process focuses (at least for the online applicants) on matching key words from your inputted resume and their set of key words. They REALLY REALLY REALLY want you to tell them that "You will ASK QUESTIONS and not rely on your own judgement, ALWAYS ALWAYS tell them that you will ask your supervisor first when learning the job!!!" that is if you want to work for this severely sophomoric atmosphered headquarters.
