A third-party recruiter reached out and first interview was scheduled fairly quickly. It was a nice conversation about my experience, role description and how I am a good fit. Then they asked me to complete an assignment within the next two days. After that two.more interviews were scheduled which were on the same lines. After three exhaustive rounds of interview and a written assignment later I was ghosted. I really liked the role and the organization seemed interesting and I completely understand that they may not think I'm a good fit. But, I expected them to have the basic decency to at least conclude the process instead of just ghosting me. When a candidate has invested so much time and energy, it is extremely unprofessional to ghost in my opinion.
