Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Flowserve (Port Arthur, TX) en oct 2022
Entrevista
In person interview with on-site supervisor and district manager. They ask about 8 - 10 questions and most are based on behavior and personality. The job deals with mechanical seals and most people do not have experience with mechanical seals so they expect to have to train new employees.

More technical questions, denisty of air, cavitation etc
Recruiter reached out to me to schedule a 15 minute phone screening. We agreed on a time, but the recruiter did not call. I emailed saying that I was available whenever, and he said that he would call me right then. I never heard back from the recruiter after that point.
UPDATE: I ended up hearing back from the recruiter a couple days later. They apologized for the miscommunication and said they called the wrong phone number (even though I included it in both the application and the corresponding emails with them). I then interviewed with the team lead, who said that I'll hear back from them by the end of the following week. It is well past that time frame and I haven't heard a word from either the recruiter or the team lead.

In the email asking for set up a time, he asked me three questions:
1. Do you have previous experience with fluid dinamics and/or flow control? Tell me about it.
2. Can you share an example of a time when you evaluated a customer's technical requirements and successfully developed a solution?
3. How do you balance technical knowledge and commercial considerations when preparing proposals or quotes?
