Found job thru another company, before my current company bought it out. I went in for an interview over 30 years ago and was hired 3 months later. Once bought out by my current company, I was able to transfer. and I have been in my current position ever since. I have seen from the outside looking in, that the process takes about 2-3 months.

I was asked if I had any mechanical skills, and if I was willing to work over time.
