Took over two months time. Had several rounds of interviews, got a lot of good feedback. When asked who is the ideal candidate they told me I was, more than once. I was asked if I would be fine w the role since I had previous management experience and this was an analyst level. I told them I was more than fine w it & I’ve done similar work in the past & enjoyed it. Then after wasting all my time, I was told they felt I was too senior for the role.
