I applied online. The recruiter reached out to me and did not give me much of a good impression of the organization or represent the company well. I was already in two minds but figured maybe the phone call would be better. The phone interview were not related to the role at all, it felt as if he pulled how-to-interview 101 questions from the internet. At one point, I thought the call was a scam call because it really did not feel like a recruiter that knew much about Flexport. For example, I asked “Is this a new role?” His response was “I don’t know”. There were other questions I had asked him but did not get a direct answer. Based on the call, I was no longer interested.
