very basic, telephone call to invite in for interview a few days later. Interview was an informal chat, and explanation of the role. Was offered the role, but it wasn't what I was looking for.

I was emailed by their recruiters, citing my experience and skills as a good match for the job. After a positive interview, I was told I had won them over and asked if I could start early next week and to expect a phone call the next day. They never called me back. I emailed the recruiters, they never got back to me. I called them again the next week, and they told me to expect a call back within 15 minutes as they were unavailable. After 3 hours of waiting, I called them again, and they said my skills and experience weren't what they were looking for, despite that they headhunted me, citing my skills and experience. I wasted many hours travelling, researching and interviewing. Total disappointment as they implied I had the job then disappeared! Shameful, inconsiderate employers playing with people like dirt on their shoes rather than human beings.
