I had met the owner at a previous occasion, where I had expressed an interest in possibly working for her one day. When the time came that this would be a "fit" for both of us, I had breakfast with her to discuss, in general, her ideas of the job and what I expected. With a satisfactory meeting, I then met with her and her business associate for an informal "getting to know you" chat and interview. I was sent a contract for employment the next day.
