Was invited to a screener interview at public interest OCI at my law school and advanced to the final interview. The final interview included one-on-one conversations with 5 different attorneys. I applied for the technology specific division but had to interview for multiple mergers related practice groups. The interviewers did not seem to like the Chairwoman Lena Khan because when I expressed finding her inspiring, they did not seem to like that. The lawyers seemed very pro-business and all worked at high ranked biglaw firms previously. I couldn’t hide the fact that I was not interested in helping large corporations merge.
