Basically the interview is about the resume. Interviewers asked couple questions about the resume on part that caught their interests. Also, I were asked to answer some questions on the mortgage business process after I was given a overview on what Fannie's doing. The interview usually takes 30-40 minutes each and totally there're 3 interviews.

I think the most difficult part is the time. There are 3-5 interviews in total and non-stop, you have to learn to deal with different type of managers.

They asked technical questions like limit distribution, how to calculate premium.. etc. Questions are not hard but check some econometrics book.

I applied online, and got a call from HR after about one month. The HR asked some general questions and then invited me to an on-site interview arranged one week later. I was interviewed by 6 people including VP. Questions are mostly based on resume. They also asked some technical questions. Waited a week for final decision.
Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Fannie Mae (Washington, DC) en ene 2016

The interview process was all right but they rescheduled multiple times. There was also a long gap between one interview and the next. After the final interviews, it took 3 weeks to hear back. They kept making excuses (bad weather, family emergency, car accident, sick, etc.) and when they finally gave me an offer, they seriously low-balled. I would not recommend this company to anyone who values their time and would like to be paid what they deserve.
