Recruiter contacted me and took more than a month to get the interview started. The process of getting a phone interview after talking to a recruiter shouldn't take more than a week I believe. I had an interview with the hiring manager, which was pleasant but awkward at the same time. The conversation went from asking about my experience to how they really needed a data engineer. Wasn't too difficult of an interview, but that's because I was under the assumption that most of the heavy questions will be asked in the in person. Final step is an in person interview. After stepping into the office I realize that I didn't wanna work here anymore. The office spaces was cramped (an open space environment where the spaces between you and the person behind you were only a few inches apart). The work environment also didn't look very clean or friendly to people visiting. I also realized that I was completely wrong about the heavy questions for the in person interview. The in person didn't have any coding challenges, instead it was more random questions on what I did for my previous role.
