I applied for FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific. This is a role available in Singapore.
I was ghosted by the Talent Acquisition Partner with Morgan McKinley (November 2024).
He contacted me via WhatsApp message and arranged a meeting. He sent me the Teams Meeting invite via email. However, on the day of the Teams Meeting, he was not in the Teams Meeting room. I sent him a message 7 minutes after the scheduled time, to check in on him. I saw him come online on WhatsApp shortly after, but he didn't reply me. He came online again after that. After around 20 minutes of waiting, I gave up waiting and assumed the meeting was not happening.
This is very irresponsible behaviour and I wouldn't recommend FujiFILM to work with this person.
Perhaps he did this to fulfil his KPI of having many candidates, or he did this to justify some kind of internal hiring. I don't know. I can only guess.
Quick interview process there was only one round of interviewing with the GC. After that, its reference checking, police and immigration checks. Not a lot of hoops to go through
