I applied online, was contacted probably within a week by phone. Asked brief questions, and then heard an in-person interview would be scheduled about a week later. Had the in-person at agency's HQ. Took 3 hours for them to offer me the position. If you're interviewing for a position with their DEA contract, make sure to be completely transparent as soon as they contact you. Anything over marijuana use is considered an auto-disqualification for even a public trust security clearance, even if it was sparing and experimental. You don't want to accept the offer only to have it rescinded once you answer questions about prior drug use honestly. I wish that drug use would have been brought up from the very first point of contact - would have saved a lot of time on everyone's part.

I interviewed with a government attorney, a supervising paralegal, and a government paralegal. Great and smooth interview process. Interviewers were friendly, and had already reviewed my background and interests, and adequeately answered all questions I had for them.
