      I was interviewed by a senior member of the management team. While the process was formally arranged, I encountered several issues that made me reconsider the opportunity. Firstly, the salary offered was significantly lower than what was advertised in the job posting. When I shared my expectations, the conversation shifted toward my educational background in a way that felt unnecessarily critical. While constructive dialogue is appreciated, the tone used was discouraging. It was also shared that the role involved leading a major project with a strict two-week deadline, a timeline that seemed unrealistic considering the scope described. Throughout the interview, there was a recurring theme of self-praise and implied doubt in others’ capabilities, which did not foster a collaborative impression. Remarks were also made about my previous employer and role, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Lastly, certain topics discussed during the interview seemed to approach areas sensitive to fair employment practices. It’s important that interviews reflect professionalism and respect appropriate boundaries.
