FINRA is one of the worst places where I have ever interviewed.
I was supposed to quickly (i.e. 30mins) talk to a project director so he could tell me why I should join FINRA under one of his teams. Instead, he asked one of his underlings to give me a technical phone screen. I had no warning this was going to happen. Predictably, I was unprepared and annoyed. The underling had no idea what open positions there were nor which teams were hiring. Both sides were left wanting.
The 1-hour technical phone screen is a standard shared screen experience over a telephone. They ask basic questions about SQL, Spark, Scala, Bash, and work experience.
