Got referred by a friend for their newly formed Generative AI team HR reached out within 2 days and scheduled the first round. Round 1 (Discussion – 45 mins): Topics: Python fundamentals, Gen AI, Vector DB usage, Cache implemetation etc. - No coding; purely technical discussion. Went well, felt confident. No updates for ~3 weeks despite follow-ups. After a month, HR informed me I had cleared Round 1. Round 2 Scheduling Issues: Interviewer didn’t join the scheduled call (waited ~15 mins). HR said the panel agreed for the interview but noone is picking up her phone. After 3 days, interviewer pinged me directly in whatsapp to reschedule. I couldn’t attend at his suggested time and requested rescheduling — no reply after that. Overall Impression: The process felt unstructured and unprofessional, with poor communication from HR and interviewer.
