I was approached by a recruiter who claimed to be working at the company's HR department at first.
The interview questions were generic and revolved around learning more about myself as a candidate. The Recruiter though lacked any information about the company's internal structure, expected benefits, or any other essential details that a candidate is ought to be provided with during an introductory interview. It was also apparent that was ill-prepared and had not bothered to read my resume.
I was told that the line manager was away on parental leave and was supposed to get back to me within 2 weeks. After a follow-up email to the recruiter, no response was provided - not even an acknowledgment of receipt.
Having read up reviews of the company by both customers and staff, the experience comes as a no surprise.
