He acknowledged that my experience matched well with the role and mentioned he would present my CV to the hiring manager. However, shortly after the call ended, I received a notification that my application would not be proceeded with. I wish the recruiter had focused more on my experience, background, and skill set during the call. Additionally, greater transparency and honesty regarding the desired experience and salary range would have been appreciated. This would have allowed for a more constructive and informative conversation. I am also unsure if my CV was actually presented to the hiring manager, which leaves me with unanswered questions about the application process.
