I applied for the position and was contacted by HR within 2 weeks. However, I was told they weren't going to be hiring for about a month. They hire in groups in order to have enough for a training class. I kept in contact with HR, and about a month later I was brought in for an interview. I met with all four managers (2 at a time). Nothing too difficult. I was offered the position and began training a week later.

It's a sales position, so i was asked questions about how I'd paint the picture, upsell, etc.
Was smooth process and no complaints. Only took a couple weeks to finish process because they hire in groups so have to wait until the class was available to take it

The interview process was less than seamless. It began quickly-- I received a phone call a day or two after I applied, and had a phone interview a day or two after that. From there, I had a sit-down with the sales manager at a local coffee shop, and then a week or two of waiting while they interviewed other candidates. My big problem was that after I was given the position, the company did not honor my start date. I was given a drug test at a local office here in town, and because they sent my "sample" off to some distant lab instead of processing it on island as was expected, I had my start date pushed back a week. The Human Resources Manager did not know why this happened. It seemed disorganized, and I was out a week's pay for a mistake I didn't make.

The interview didn't feel like an interview, so I have hard time recalling specific questions the kind to which this question refers. The sales manager asked me which activities on the island I would suggest most to my guests, but this felt like a natural progression in a conversation between friends.
