The interview process shows how badly managed this company is. The amount of apathy shown to candidates could be an indicator of how much they care about their own employees.
I was contacted by a recruiter and started the interview process. The process took 5 months, mostly because there was zero communication from the recruiter. I had to reach out to the hiring manager and the recruiter repeatedly to get the status, and schedule the next round.
After 5 painful months the recruiter called me to say that the team was moving towards an offer, and that he'll get back in a couple of days with the numbers. This exciting news turned aginizing when I didn't receive anything for a week. 3 weeks later I get an email that the position was put on hold, and that I won't be receiving an offer after all.
So basically Expedia opened this role, interviewed a bunch of people for at least 6 months, offered someone the job, and then decided they really don't want to hire anyone. Imagine the waste of company resources and the candidates' time. Expedia was one of my target companies, but after having wasted 6 months, they couldn't pay me enough to work there.

Entrevista
Applied online (no referral) - recruiter reached out and invited for 1st round with HM - waited for 2 weeks after 1st round - and proceeded to 2nd pannel round with 4 interviewer from x-functional team (pm, engineer, designer, Director). Didn't get the offer but recruiter was helpful and interviewers were nice as well.

Questions were almost entirely behavioral. There was no homework assignment or presentation.
