The first interview was very quick and informal, and the interviewer was very pleasant and friendly. He explained how employees can progress rapidly within the company. I was invited back for a second interview, which was to spend a day working with them. However, after reading reviews on Glassdoor and finding out that the position would be a self-employed one, and that the salary would be commission-only, I informed them that I would not be attending. During the interview the MD explained that the working day was from 9am to 7.30pm, but that people could occasionally leave early if they met their targets. However, if you're classed as self-employed, surely you should be able to work the hours that you want!
