The interview process went really fast. I was contacted quickly after inquiring about a job and the interview with the client came quickly after that. In the end I had one interview with the client for 30 minutes and a small trial project. I quickly passed the screening and they were looking to hire me but my expectations were a lot higher than theirs. It should have stopped here really but that's the thing with recruiters, they want to get a match so they negotiate both sides which can be good but it wasn't a good match for either side. The company came up a lot higher than they were initially looking for and it was difficult to pass up so I accepted. The first week I started at the company I knew it was bad news and within that first month I started to look for new work again. In the end I lasted 3 months and neither side was really happy in the end.
