Positive interview with simple questions. Didn't get the offer and also never got a response from the recruiter. After the interview had ended pretty much got ghosted. Other than that everyone was very friendly and helpful.

During my 1st interview, I was told I would be doing b2b sales. Dealing only with other businesses, selling recruiting services directly to them. Interview goes well and they want to set up a 2nd interview. My 2nd interview begins and before I have the chance to say anything, he says, "Let's show you the software." After some time, I realize that this isn't an interview, it's unpaid training. During which, he shows me how to send candidates to their clients. I quickly say, "Well, the position I'm interviewing for is b2b sales, I'm not going to be recruiting." And he responds with, "You're going to be finding candidates for our clients." I then realize this isn't a sales position, it's a recruiting position dressed up as a sales position to attract people with sales experience. Classic bait and switch. AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER, dude finally stops speaking. There is no verbal or formal offer, he just assumes I want the position, bids me farewell and says that HR will contact me. HR reaches out to me and wants me to fill out a formal application and sign some background check paperwork, no problem. I tell them that's fine but I am waiting to hear back from other opportunities. The guy that did my 2nd interview reaches out to me directly and tells me that they're on a timeline that they need to meet for training. At this point it's very apparent that they are trying to twist my arm into accepting a job without ever hearing back from my other interviews. He reluctantly agrees to give me more than a day to hear back from them. I am writing this review because 2 days has passed since my 2nd interview and I just received an email from the guy that did my 2nd interview saying, "At this point, due to the interviews we have taking place, and the fact that we would need to start and finish the entire background/application process if/when a decision is made before we could make an offer, we’re going to have to move on with the candidates that are ready to make a decision." I was never going to accept the position after realizing I was baited into a recruiting role. Thank god I took the time to wait, because I was offered an actual sales role at a SAAS company today (I also told them I needed time to think about it and they said, "Take all the time you need.") I can sleep well knowing that I won't ever have to speak to the people at Cyber Coders ever again.
