I received a call to schedule a phone screen the day after I submitted an application online; I was called in for the interview within a few days. I was notified of the employer's decision within a week of the interview. I was not the selected candidate, but the interviewer and entire process was very professional, efficient, and they even explained the reason I was not selected (they were moving on with the interviewing process to include candidates that had more experience in that particular role than I did).
