Played phone tag with the hiring manager for approximately a week. In the meantime, she filled the position and did not disclose this information. When I finally was able to reach her, she did not offer any insight, details, or information regarding the position I applied for, let alone her filling the position already. She then proceeded to refer me to another position she and another manager thought I'd be suitable for. The position was at least two hours away. She did not mention it would out of my locational geographic and was not remotely related to the position I initially applied for. There was no remorse, no apologies, and no clarification. Absolutely unacceptable and unethical recruiting, interviewing or hiring practices.
