I normally wouldn't post after a negative experience, but reading new hires post glowing reviews about the incredible guidance and support they received during the hiring process, I want to share a very different experience.
Mine was the complete opposite. Four rounds of interviews with minimal feedback and zero support or guidance from leadership. Leadership showed little interest at each stage - never responding to emailed questions, giving answers that were just a few words, and generally seeming disengaged. I was genuinely puzzled they kept moving me forward given their apparent lack of investment in the process.
The final interview included a presentation followed by what felt more like an interrogation than a conversation. I was asked the same questions from previous rounds, and my own questions were dismissed with little consideration.
A well-structured interview process should provide transparency, engagement, and encourage candidates to bring their best. This experience fell far short of that standard.
The interview process felt disorganized from start to finish. I went through four rounds, but communication was inconsistent and expectations were often unclear. The people I spoke with came across as unusual and at times hard to read, which made the overall experience feel uncomfortable rather than professional. After investing significant time in the process, the recruiter ultimately ghosted me with no follow-up or closure. Overall, it left the impression of a company with poor coordination and a lack of respect for candidates’ time.
