This position require a strong scientific background in drug discovery and development which can only be met by years of professional academic experience in R&D in this area. However, when candidate(s) with that profile and already some additional project management skills and experience appeared, the questions centered on the capacity to "transition" from Academia and adapt to be able to fulfill the role...
