I applied for this position online and shortly after HR reached out to me to schedule time for a call. A few days later I was on the phone with a "NetSec Manager" who told me the call went well, this was reflected by HR in an email. HR told me they would like the schedule a five hour on-site interview. I was stoked. Then, the trouble began. Trying to contact HR, or anyone I had correspondence with was fruitless. After about three weeks and a number of excuses, I was told that they didn't know what my position would even entail. Subsequently, I was told to forget about the position and move along. I guess being as unprofessional as possible is a New York thing. Thanks for wasting my time, Etsy.
