Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Essence (New York, NY) en sep 2013

      Entrevista

The first process is an online math/analytical test. You do not get to see how much you've scored. I guess I passed since I got an e-mail for a phone interview. Phone interview went well but realized that I was actually being considered for a very different position from the one I had applied for. I was willing to do it since I believed it would be great to expand my knowledge and adventure on a different part of marketing. They then invited me for an in-house interview which went well. They applied a case study that was actually kind of fun (they give you a calculator and such). However, once again, I HAD NEVER WORKED WITH ANALYSIS OF DATA, which was crucial for the role. Alright, I passed that round of interviews and a over a week later got an e-mail asking me to go back for another round of behavioral and case study interview. (Ugh). Behavioral went well, but case study BAD. First, it is not like they give you the case study and leave the room for you to resolve. No. They stay there, asking what are you thinking, which calculations are you making, and so on. I get that, but it puts a lot of pressure on you. I did not do very good on the last study because ONE- it was hard. TWO- I HAD NEVER WORKED WITH ANALYSIS OF DATA. Which you can see on my resume. I feel that was a bit of waste of time, but I learned with the process. The recruiters should have noticed that I do not have experience with data analysis! And that was the reason I did not get the job. I appreciate they at least sending me an e-mail saying that I was not a fit for the role (well!).
