Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 5 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Esri (Redlands, CA) en ene 2018

      Entrevista

My process started in January 2018. I interviewed first with a recruiter, then with a manager, and was bounced around to a few other team members for phone interviews too. After this, I was told I would be coming on-site for a full day consisting of a 30-minute presentation, a demonstration of a work sample, and more interviews with the team. The role would be responsible for facilitation, so having to give a presentation made sense, but I did ultimately feel like the day was unnecessarily long. After all of my interviews, I was told that I was one of 4 candidates that would be coming on site, so it would be a few weeks before I heard anything back. This was in early April. I received one email from the recruiter after a week had passed letting me know there would be an update within the next two weeks. After 3 weeks from receiving that email, they reached out about an update, a time to discuss my status was arranged, and the recruiter left for work that day and never called. They followed up the next business day and apologized, and also let me know I was no longer in consideration for the roles I had been interviewing with them for. I was told that they felt I was a strong applicant but they were ultimately looking for someone with more experience, which to me makes no sense why I then had to wait so long for a response. I felt like my time was wasted in this process on several occasions, and was ready to withdraw my candidacy regardless. Very interesting company and everyone you talk to is really nice, the interview process completely ruined it for me though.
