Phone interview with HR, following week had in-person interview. Interviewed with HR, the supervisor for the department, the supervisor and a director, one co-worker, another co-worker, supervisor again and then HR again. Also did a phone interview with another co-worker. My process was brutal but quick which isn't the norm.

Definetely strange process compared to larger public software conpany. They move fast and over promise in the begining. As process progresses, the offer gets chipped away and you are left feeling like you have been gaslighted. Disapointing becuase the potential to do good work is there.

Why ESRI? They are looking for a very specific answer. Make sure to review the interview guide.

Screened by HR - then interview with hiring mgr - and sales leader - felt overqualified for the position and found the lack of a commission pay structure odd - any upside or bonus comes from working overtime - not your typical sales role

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate yourself at ___?
She reached out to me on LinkedIn and wanted me to interview for the sales position. Then inturrupted the interview 10 minutes in, and said I am not what they are looking for. Odd, since 1) she contacted me and 2) I was denied bc I didn't have previous sales experience with their products. Which makes sense, bc I never worked for them before
