Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Equinox (Toronto, ON) en ene 2017
Entrevista
Was a joke. Was "tested" by two women neither of which were fully certified. Phone interview, In person interview, and then a practical test interview. Was told to create a 10 min program (given 5 or so minutes to prepare) for an advanced pilates practitioner with "tight hip flexors". The two unqualified ninnys refused me the job because I chose the Tree with full back extension on the Barrel, and was told that was incorrect, that it was a hamstring exercise. They were completely incapable of grasping that the tree was also an outstanding Hip Flexor stretch. Dina and I have forgotten the other.
I was referred by someone internally. questions were standard / about my experience. it sounded like they were really needing teachers. i’m always hesitant when that seems so apparent but overall she was kind. none of the questions surprised me. I’d recommend you brush up on the mission / values

Easy - phone interview. There was no teaching audition. I was not even asked to teach a private session with observation or teach a practice group class to other instructors.
Me postulé en persona. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Equinox (New York, NY) en jul 2023

The first round was a phone interview, getting to know you and your training & experiences. The second round was a half hour Pilates class, and after the class they gave some notes for improvement.
