      Entrevista para Management Trainee

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Enterprise Mobility en oct 2011

      Entrevista

First I applied online. Then a recruiter called me a few days later to ask some pretty basic questions. Questions like: "tell me about yourself," "describe your sales experience," "describe your customer service experience." Then she sent me an e-mail and asked me to come in for a one on one interview. This interview was more in depth. Basically the same subjects but she wanted specific examples. Also, she asked me about 3 or 4 times why I wanted to work for Enterprise. Which, I mean, I didn't really want to work for them but I just graduate college and can't find anything else. Next they set me up with an interview at the local branch with the regional manager. The first hour I was there I just sat in the office awkwardly while everyone was working and acting like they were too busy to acknowledge my presence. I guess they want you to see how thing operate there. Anyway, I interviewed with the regional manager in his office. He asked pretty much the same questions as the previous interview but a little more in depth. He also told me about his career path and how much he loved working for Enterprise. In the end, I could tell after the interview that I wasn't going to get the job because of my lack of sales and customer service experience. I don't understand why they think people need a college degree to do this job. I think a more sensible requirement would be 5+ years experience in retail/sales. Those are the people that are going to excel in a position like this. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get the job just for the fact that I've been searching so hard since I graduated but I think I would have disliked the position. I didn't earn my college degree to put people in rental cars - especially to work 48 hours a week for $34,000 a year.

More conversational than a typical interview style making it much more in depth and interesting. As a candidate you also get to know how the person across you made it to where they are now, using the same trainings you would eventually learn.

It was an average difficulty interview with the most standard, basic questions. The interviewer had a deadpan, annoyed face and looked and sounded like she didn't want to be there. I didn't prepare for it and didn't pass, but I don't think most people will have a problem if they just prepare beforehand
