The on-site interview takes 2 days with only 1 day of hotel provided. There was a dinner on Monday and the actual interview is on Tuesday. This means I have to skip an extra day of school. The company is 10-min walk to the train station and the interview ends 10 mins before my train. I emailed them to request whether I could get off like 20 mins earlier so I can go back to my school earlier. The HR said that "You would miss one of the interviews if you leave early.". Then I have to wander in the train station until 8pm to catch the next train. I reached my school around 11pm. On the interview day, we had a lunch break which was more than 2 hours where we spent lots of time just to chat with employees. I really doubt how much they care about the time of their candidates. Lots of companies I have interviewed really cared about my time and tried to make the process as compact as possible. They do reimburse some of your trip cost. But Enova sent me a check with my name spelled wrong. The bank did not accept it. I was really offended.

I received an email from the recruiter at Enova and that followed up with a phone call, I then had to pass a technical assessment similar to Leetcode questions after that I thought I did not pass since one question was not very optimized but the recruiter reached out to schedule a 4 hour meeting with the team! I submitted that but then it went silent I then realized their email went to my spam. Luckily we continued the interview which consisted of Behavioral, Technical, Problem Solving and then just a Wrap up about the company. I thought everything went well I was so excited but I got the rejection email... Which is better than being ghosted just would have hoped for the recruiter to mention what areas I could improve on. Anyways if your about to interview with them good luck!
