A horrible first impresssion 🚩 Took time out of my day and had to arrange childcare for the interviewer (someone in HR) not to even log in to the teams call. After optimistically waiting her arrival for ten minutes I fired off an email checking I hate the details right and after a further five minutes, I logged off the call. I heard back shortly after that an urgent meeting had arisen but have never worked anywhere that didn’t have the common decency to fire off a quick one sentence email to say this just before our call was due to start. And the fact that people in that room may have had an issue with someone displaying some basic manners is a major red flag. Needless to say, despite her suggestion that we’d rearranged, I haven’t heard any more. When people have made arrangements to meet with you, don’t blow them off like this. So rude and now not somewhere id want to work anyway.
