After applying online, I was contacted the next day for an interview. I didn't not do much research before applying which was a sad mistake on my part. The night before the interview I checked Glassdoor and realized I made a huge mistake. This company puts out fake job descriptions to get as many people in the door as possible to do basic sales. It is clear that they are despret. I was in and out of the interview in five minutes because I called them out on their false advertising.

THIS IS A SCAM. THE JOB DESCRIPTION THEY PROVIDE ONLINE IS NOT ACCURATE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. The biggest red flag is that, a day or two after applying online, they reached out via email and text to let me know that I got an interview. I ignored my suspicions and accepted a preliminary Zoom interview. Another applicant was on the call as well, which struck me as strange. Then the interviewer discussed more about the company and what the position would entail, which matched nothing from the job description posted online. She mentioned that they were opening up 250 new offices around the United States (???) and that new hires would be trained to take over a new location/branch over the course of 12-16 months. This was the final straw and had MLM all over it. I have never felt so deceived in the interview process before, so I quietly accepted a secondary on-site interview which I immediately canceled via email.
