Standard call with recruiter. Talked about role and company. Was told the next step was a round of a PHONE interviews. I even reached back out to the recruiter to confirm they were supposed to be PHONE calls because I thought it was strange. Showed up to the call and was told this was supposed to be a video call so we pivoted to that but since I was prepared to do a phone call I was thrown off and did poorly which was on me. Told the reciter this and he showed no remorse or empathy. Ended up getting a rejection letter I only assume because of this. Reached out to the recruiter again to see if he could he or the team could give any feedback and was ghosted. Very bad experience, mostly due to the recruiter.
