Assessment day with 30 other candidates. The day included doing some aptitude tests, a presentation and face to face two panel interview. The process was very straightforward and the Hiring Managers were very supportive and friendly on the day.

The process was too long (the whole day). It wasnt clear what they look for. Many of the candidates had friends that attended the assessment day before and they were prepared on what are the group exercises and what are the questions at the interviews. Also, most of the candidates tried to memorise the values and visions of Edwardian Hotels London and they kept telling them during the group exercise. I dont think this should be a reason to select someone. It is more important to select people that have the skills to be future managers! We met the people selected from the last year's assessment day and they are currently in the program. Most of them (except 1-2) were definitely not looking like Managers. They told us that they have to do the cleaner for 2 weeks, the waitress for 1 month, etc After I met them I was really disappointed and wouldn't like to get selected for the program. I generally felt that I spend the whole day for nothing.
