The first step was an online application. The online application contained interview questions, including several situational questions. I was then contacted to set up a phone interview. The phone interview took approximately 30 minutes. In addition, a thorough background check was required.

Straight forward but lengthy application process on line. I was contacted about a week after submitting my application. You do have the option of a SKYPE interview or in-person. I chose in person because I perform better that way. The interview questions were basic and the process was a more casual encounter. It was very easy to talk to my interviewer. I felt like I was speaking with a colleague. Another bonus is that EOC let you know ahead of time the clearances that are needed and the requirement of a TB test within the last 2 years. You pay for the expenses for the completion of the background checks and the test. I am not sure if being refunded is an option.
