Solid first screening call, recruiter knew what they're looking for. Second interview with the Chief Risk/Marketing officer was a complete waste of time (she arrived late and proceeded to talk about herself for 50 minutes, kept watching the clock, and apologized at 5 minutes until the hour that she took up all the time). OK then...
There was zero discussion around approach, process, goals, objectives, skills, team, etc. In the end, there seemed to be a shifting set of criteria at work here vs. what was initially communicated as being critical to this role, but guessing it was more likely personal chemistry. (That said, the interviewer had no personality, which was a good sign that this would be a humorless role and quite likely, a grind.)
Hounded recruiter for weeks for a "no-go" answer. Then again, who wants to work with someone that is a robot...
