      Entrevista

      Phone Interview followed by In Person Interview / Case Presentation. The phone interview was pleasant and followed a case presentation where you were provided an exercise/case study to present your findings at their interview. I was interviewed by multiple different individuals in the office and virtually in 3-4 different rounds before the final case study, which had a total of around 10 attendees. At one point the founder came in for a brief chat but he seemed distracted and uninterested. The people in the office and one of the co-founders were quite kind, but what I found to be very disappointing was how they approached the follow up. After spending several hours preparing for the case presentation, they did not have the courtesy to do any kind of follow up or thank me for giving my time to interview. In addition, the interview time was rescheduled last minute and the first interviewer was late to the adjusted meeting time. Overall seemed very unprofessional and inconsiderate of time.

      Fairly long interview process, had multiple phone interviews with different people, video interview with me and 3 employees, completed an excel project. Turned down their offer because it was low and the benefits weren't great. Felt like they were kind of yanking me around through the whole process. I made one mistake on the excel project and they told me I had to email different people apologizing for it if I wanted to continue in the interview process to "prove" that I was interested.

      Entrevista

      I got a call from one of the co-founders who had viewed my resume from when I had applied online. The initial phone call was pleasant and lasted about 15 to 20 minutes. I was then sent an exercise to do and once I emailed that back, I got a call from a value consultant who spoke to me and got to know me over the course of half an hour. I ended up getting a call to visit the office in McLean and did so. The visit went nicely and the questions posed were very thorough. The team definitely wants to assess all candidates in every aspect, both professionally and personally. They need the best fit for their team and I think that management really does try to find that. During the interview, I was also asked to present the exercise that I had worked on. I did not appreciate their lead consultant attempting to psychoanalyze me during the interview. This would be my only critique in respect to the in person interview. I was also told that I would hear back (regardless of the outcome, I presumed) but no one ever called. I thought that was unprofessional, especially after I'd emailed to follow up since I had not gotten a chance to meet with the entire executive team.

We carefully consider the unique value and strengths that each person would bring to the team. I'm sorry to hear about the miscommunication -- it's important to us that we keep our word. With the high influx of candidates, we may have missed your follow-up email. Generally, candidates will hear from us promptly if we decide to move forward in the interview process.
